ART+BIO Collaborative is an artist- and scientist-led non-profit organization that fosters the integration of science, nature, and art through novel collaborations, research, public engagement and education. We utilize the intersection of the arts, biology, natural history and the life sciences as a catalyst for social dialogue and creative exchange of ideas with the public.

Through a diversity of activities and programs we aim to:

  • Develop and facilitate creative collaborations between artists, biologists, researchers, makers, naturalists, designers, educators and students.

  • Design and promote innovative ART+SCIENCE public engagement events and curriculum drawn from non-traditional, immersive, inquiry-based methods of science learning, creativity and art making.

  • Create opportunities for galleries, research labs, natural habitats, museums, studios and public spaces to become cross-disciplinary, interactive environments for life-long learning and discovery.
